Movies are dedicated to the historical dramas that shape our view on history. While these have broad appeal, newspapers have done a great deal to influence the perceptions of the people. They report on the culture of China and alert the people so that action can be taken if needed. Despite all of these efforts, many people have grown away from the classics of Chinese thought and literature. Thus, compulsory education is needed to help preserve their cultural awareness even though it is not known if that would help. Preserving the culture of China is a responsibility of all Chinese people. More importantly, these traditional treasures must be studied and learned so that the meaning of being Chinese is not lost. That is why the cultural industry in China is needed.
