　　In China, teachers are held in high esteem. September 10th is the Teachers'Day of China. This day is in honor of all those involved in the teaching profession.

　　September 28th is the birthday of the world-famous teacher Confucius-KongZi. Kongzi is a great philosopher and he is also a great teacher. He had thousands of disciples (students), including Aristotle. In the ancient times, Kongzi’s birthday was regarded as a Teachers'Day.

　　Now, September 10th is the Teachers'Day of China. In the year f 1984, Wang Zishen, former president of Beijing Normal University, suggested to establish a festival day for the Chinese teachers. On Jan. 21st,1985,September 10th was fixed as the Teachers'Day of China.

　　在中國(guó)，教師受到很大的尊重。9月10日是中國(guó)的教師節(jié)。這是為了紀(jì)念所有從事教育事業(yè)的人們。

　　9月28是聞名于世的孔子的生辰�？资ト耸莻�(gè)偉大的哲學(xué)家，但他又是個(gè)偉大的老師。他有許多門(mén)徒，就是今天我們說(shuō)得學(xué)生，包括亞里士多德。在古代的時(shí)候，人們把孔子的生辰作為教師節(jié)。

　　現(xiàn)在，9月10日是中華人民共和國(guó)的教師節(jié)。在1984年，王梓坤教授，北京師范大學(xué)前校長(zhǎng)，建議要建立中國(guó)的教師節(jié)。 在1985年的1月，第六屆全國(guó)人大常委會(huì)第九次會(huì)議確定，每年9月10日為中國(guó)的教師節(jié)。
