　　圣誕節(jié)(Christmas)又稱耶誕節(jié)，譯名為“基督彌撒”，西方傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，在每年12月25日。彌撒是教會的一種禮拜儀式。圣誕節(jié)是一個宗教節(jié)，因?yàn)榘阉��?dāng)作耶穌的誕辰來慶祝，故名“耶誕節(jié)”。

　　大部分的天主教教堂都會先在24日的平安夜，亦即12月25日凌晨舉行子夜彌撒，而一些基督、教會則會舉行報佳音，然后在12月25日慶祝圣誕節(jié);基督、教的`另一大分支——東正教的圣誕節(jié)慶則在每年的1月7日。

　　圣誕節(jié)也是西方世界以及其他很多地區(qū)的公共假日，例如：在亞洲的香港、澳門、馬來西亞和新加坡。圣經(jīng)實(shí)際上并無記載耶穌誕生日期，圣誕節(jié)是后人公定的。
